MARGO

Do I look familiar to you? My name is Margo, and I am Princess's sister! Obviously we're not identical twins, because I'm a chocolate girl, also born on 1/9/2003. Our stories are identical though, as I was also the "Lab" in the Labradoodle. I had my last litter of pups in April, so I couldn't come to LRR until I finished my job of nursing my babies until they were old enough to find their own forever families. My work is now done and I'm spayed, crate trained, and housebroken and I'm a petite little girl, I weigh only 62lbs.

Daisy

Daisy, a spunky 3 year old yellow female, was living the good life with her parents, human baby "sister", and older black lab/pointer "brother" when life threw them all a curve. The builders had promised her folks that their new house would be completed before they would have to leave their old living quarters. But, the closer it came to moving, the realization that the house would not be ready became apparent. Suddenly, the family found itself in a situation where they had to move to an interim home while waiting at least half a year more for the house to be completed. Unfortunately, temporary space could only be found for the older male lab mix, so Daisy came to LRR to be re-homed. Being well adjusted, we simply had to find new owners who would appreciate Daisy's high energy. That couple soon came along, and subsequent follow-up found this note from the happy canine parents:

daisy1.jpg Good to hear from you! Again, it is nice to know that LRR cares so much for the labs that are adopted through the organization. As for Daisy... what can we say - she's the BEST!!! Every day and every night we count our blessings for being adopted by such a great lab! As you know, it has been extremely hot lately, so after only a little play time (which is unlike her), she lets us know that it is time to return to the cool air conditioning. But, who can blame her? I think we all feel the same way (although sometimes she relaxes in her own special spot underneath our sprinkler in the back yard--it's certainly a funny sight to see.) Aside from the heat, she really loves playing with the other dogs on our court. They all get along wonderfully. We have recently received some photos back which we are in the processing of scanning. You can expect to receive some soon. She's a real ham in front of the camera and loves the attention. We've been showing off the pictures and bragging like the proud parents we are! We start doggy school tomorrow evening and will keep you updated on her/our progress. She enjoys sleeping with us at night, and the feeling is definitely mutual! We are so grateful to LRR for introducing us to Daisy. She brings us more happiness than you can imagine. Words alone can't express our thanks, but we know that our appreciation will reflect upon the happy, fulfilling life we offer Daisy! Hope all is well with you and the other labs. We look forward to speaking with you again soon!
