Hi LRR!!!!! This is Maggie, but you knew me as Misty. I hope you all are doing great and this weather hasn't gotten you down. It makes it tough for me to get outside and walk, but Mom makes arrangements for me to go to Day Care a couple days a week, so I can run and play with my friends, and get my exercise!!! I just LOVE school (that is what Mom calls Day Care). My best friends there are a Great Dane named Greta and a Lab Mix named Sage.

I was reading the Happy Tails from the past few lucky dogs (get it - lucky dogs - I crack myself up sometimes) when Mom was at work - she doesn't know I get on the computer and surf the doggie websites. Sounds like I am not the only LRR Alum that got LUCKY!!!!!

I rescued my Mom back in July of 2006 (I say that because Mom always asks to me "Who rescued who here?"), and although there has been some growing because of Mom's cats she had previously, we are all one great and happy family. I can see quite a change in Mom since I have come into her life. My favorite thing when she comes home from work is to lick her face and take away all the cares of the day! She says I am the best at that since I can kiss away all her problems. Don't tell the cats, but I know I am the center of Mom's universe!!! The cats tolerate me, but I don't understand why they don't want to play with me - maybe because I am lots bigger than them. I have been really lucky with my Mom. She has taken me to classes to make me be a well-rounded and behaved young lady. We go to the park and play with the Chuck-It (which is a good thing since Mom throws like a girl). Sometimes we go over to Mom's friends who have labbies (my cousins) for play dates, and this is where I go on the rare occasion Mom has to go out of town - it is so much better than a kennel or even the Pet Resort she took me to one time. My favorite treat Mom gives me is the frozen, stuffed Kong (mix a bit of peanut butter and plain yogurt, stuff the Kong, freeze it, and ta-da a treat to keep me busy). What I LOVE best about my Mom is that she LOVES me as much as I LOVE her and she tells me I am in my FOREVER HOME!!! How great is that!!!!

Well, she is due home from work anytime, so I better go take my place near the door and wait for her (she thinks I hang out by the door waiting for her - silly Mom). But I wanted to fill you in on my fantastic new life and say THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH for taking such great care of me and for letting me go to just the right home for me!! I love you guys!!!
