Calendar Contest Official Rules

Judging

The winning photographs will be chosen by volunteer judges. Judging will be conducted fairly and decisions are final.

Eligibility

This contest is open to any owner of a dog(s) adopted through Labrador Retriever Rescue, Inc. Submitted photo(s) must be of dogs adopted through Labrador Retriever Rescue, Inc. Dogs who were featured in the 2008 calendar are ineligible for the 2009 calendar.

Number of Photo Submissions and Entry Forms Allowed

A maximum of 3 photos per dog may be submitted to this contest. Each dog must have its own separate Entry Form submitted. If you have adopted more than one dog from Labrador Retriever Rescue, Inc., you must submit separate Entry Forms for each dog.

Fees and Prizes

There are no fees for submitting entries to this contest. There are no prizes awarded to the winners of this contest.

No Damage Claims

All contest entries become the property of Labrador Retriever Rescue, Inc., although the photographer retains his/her copyright for other uses. Labrador Retriever Rescue, Inc. takes no responsibility for lost or damaged film, slides or prints. By submitting and entry in this contest, you agree to abide by all the rules and terms of the contest and agree to waive all claims of any kind against the organizers of this contest. In order that Labrador Retriever Rescue, Inc. may effectively use all entries for the purpose of promoting Labrador rescue awareness as widely as possible, Labrador Retriever Rescue, Inc. will retain perpetual, non-exclusive rights to use any of the submitted images in any future Labrador Retriever Rescue, Inc. publication, promotional material and/or online service, with no compensation other than credit to the photographer. Labrador Retriever Rescue, Inc. reserves the right to free reproduction and exhibition of all submitted photographs. Duplicates in the form of slides, prints or digitized images may be made and held indefinitely in Labrador Retriever Rescue, Inc.'s photo archive. Contest winners also agree to make the original slide or negative of each winning image available for publication if requested.

Deadline Submission Date

Entries must be received by May 15, 2008. Entries received after May 15, 2008 will be ineligible.

Reservation of Rights

The contest organizers reserve the right to modify or clarify any of the contest rules during the term of the contest without advance notice.

Acceptance of Rules

Submission of an Entry Form for the photo contest indicates your acceptance of the contest rules.

Origin of Photo

All entries must be the original work of the entrant. You must own the copyright to the photograph.
